INDIA. Travel Food Services (TFS) has revealed its latest tech innovation – a robot named Mitri who greets travellers at its Dilli Streat restaurant at Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport. TFS claimed it was the first such installation in an airport F&B environment.
Visitors to Dilli Streat are met by Mitri, who engages with them by providing menu details and recommendations. TFS said that Mitri’s introduction shows how Artificial Intelligence can help improve customer satisfaction and drive productivity and sales.
TFS COO and Business Head Gaurav Dewan said: “We are always on the lookout for the latest innovative technologies that can enhance the experience and satisfaction of our customers. We are excited to present Mitri at our Dilli Streat outlet at Delhi Airport. With Mitri being such an innovative and futuristic concept, and given her success, we are hopeful of bringing her to more outlets across India.”
